You can spend your whole day sending and receiving emails and instant messages, and posting comments on social media sites like Facebook. If you use them to communicate with your family and coworkers, you're constantly sending messages.

The problem is that you have multiple accounts, with different contacts on each one. You might have coworkers on your LinkedIn account, friends on Facebook and other people on your Gmail.

There is an easier way to send and receive messages from multiple sites, without opening one site or app, then closing it, so you can open another one. It's called Digsby. It lets you send and receive messages from multiple social media accounts and email accounts from one app.

You just create an account. Then log into each of the accounts that you want to access from Digsby. You'll see messages in a sidebar and on your taskbar.

Digsby currently lets you link to your Gmail, Yahoo, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, email accounts and a few others. When someone sends you a message through one of those services, Digsby will notify you, and you can respond directly from Digsby.
