If you're one of the 900-plus million people who usesĀ Gmail, you know Google's webmail service is good for many things. If you want to simply send and receive emails, it's great.

If you want to manage emails, like deleting many of them at once, Gmail is easy to use. But not all of Gmail's functions are easy to use. In fact, some of them are frustrating.

Unlike some emails that have built-in calendars, or to-do lists, Gmail's calendar functions leave a lot to be desired. You can connect your Gmail to your Google Calendar, but it's not easy. So, instead, you just use it for email and toggle back and forth between it and your calendar.

There's an easier way to create to-do lists on Gmail. It's the Handle add-on, which appears as an orange circle with a plus sign in it on your browser.

Click on that to open Handle as a full screen or a sidebar. You can create a to-do list. There's a little bell icon, to add a reminder. There's a calendar icon, to add a due date. Note: Handle is free. If you see prices, it's for companies that use it for many employees.
