It's just reality that the more years we use our eyes, the harder it gets to focus up close. Even if you had great vision in your youth, by your 40's or so, generally your eyes need a little help seeing that tiny picture on your phone or reading books closer than two feet away. Reading glasses can help, but there are other ways to work around the small print or images on a digital screen.

Did you know that your eReader has adjustable font? Adjusting the font on your Kindle or Nook is way easier than changing it on your computer. In fact, in most cases you can't change the font on a website to make it easier to read. Sometimes even those pesky reading glasses don't help very much.

So what can you do? On a few websites, holding the Ctrl key and scrolling with the wheel on your mouse or pressing Ctrl and tapping the + or - keys can increase or decrease the magnification of the page.

But I found something even better! It is a clever little tool that you can whip out when you need it to check out the fine print of a document, read a page without reading glasses, or proof a design.
