Uh-oh. Did your computer freeze again?

When a program stutters or stops, or the RAM in your computer gets overloaded with too many open windows, it's common for your computer to stop responding to your commands. That's when most folks reach for Ctrl+Alt+Delete to activate the Windows Task Manager.

The Windows Task Manager can show you how hard your computer is working, what processes are running, and can stop programs and shut them down to give your computer a chance to recover.

But what if you need to see what all those processes are doing? Unfortunately, the Windows Task Manager doesn't give specific details, and most folks just use it for shutting down programs.

If you want to know more, what you really need is a program that can give you more detailed information about your computer's activities at a glance. System Explorer can give you exactly that and more.

You can see details about what programs are running, how well your computer is performing and even check the security clearance of running processes. What's really nice is that you can get an abbreviated version of everything just by clicking the System Explorer icon in the system tray.

Note: Windows 8 users won't gain too much from this program since Microsoft made 8's Task Manager more powerful and easier to understand. However, it's a nice upgrade for Windows 7 and Vista.
