All right, it's time for some honesty.

Do you actually read every website's Terms of Service and the Privacy Policies? Have you read them on any website? If you haven't don't feel bad - most people don't.

Still, when you're using online services, you need to make sure you know the ins and outs of the fine print. It tells you if a site stores your information and how it uses it.

If you're using sites that I recommend, I check the privacy policies, terms of service, and license agreements for you. If you're using another site, it's up to you. But who has the time?

Terms of Service; Didn't Read (TOS;DR) is a site that rates and labels popular websites according to their Terms of Service and Privacy Policies. It keeps you informed so that you can make the best decisions about what sites you want to use.

See who keeps your search info, if you give away any copyright licenses or if there are any sneaky loopholes that services and social sites are taking advantage of.

TOS;DR also gives an overall rating from very good (Class A) to very bad (Class E). It will display the grade in the address bar at the top of the screen when you visit a particular site. You can also contribute to the ratings of different websites. Some of the major websites are still being analyzed, and you can help.
