Let's face it, we all have things we want to get rid of. But some items are worth another look before sending them off to the dumpster. You can offer those items for free using Freecycle.

It's a non-profit organization that lets you post your unwanted items to give away, kind of like a free version of Craigslist. You can post and browse want ads, as well as look through the lists and grab some free stuff too.

When I looked in my area, there was a range of items. From old television sets and moving boxes, to desktop computers, plants and fitness equipment.

You will have to become a member of the site to share and post items, but don't worry; everything is free.
