e-book readers have been around for years. But, recently, they've taken off. Booksellers and manufacturers are rushing to offer e-book readers.
Of course, if you have an e-book reader, you need e-books. You can purchase them from Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other bookstores.
But you will also find plenty of free e-books online. Take today's Cool Site, for example. It offers almost 250,000 free e-books!
You can download the books in PDF format or plain text. So, they should work on any e-book reader. You can also read them on your computer.
The books are all in the public domain. So, don't expect recent best sellers. Rather, you'll find plenty of older titles. It's a great way to catch up on the classics!
