There are many sites online where you can share your photos with friends and family. There are so many, in fact, that choosing one can be nerve-wracking.
There are a number of things to consider when signing up. One of your main concerns should be ease of use. Otherwise, you won’t use the service.
Take Google’s Picasa Web Albums, for example. It is one of the easiest photo-sharing sites I’ve used.
It is easy to upload photos from a Web browser. That’s cool. But you can also upload photos directly from Picasa, Google’s free photo organizer. Anybody will appreciate this!
Of course, you’ll find more to love with Picasa Web Albums. You can make albums public or only share them with a select few. You can also add captions and comments, download friends’ albums and more.
You’ll need a Google account to use Picasa Web Albums. If you don’t have one, you can sign up for free. You’ll get one gigabyte of free storage. If you need more, you can pay for extra storage.
Notice: We give Web sites a "heads-up" before mentioning them in our Cool Sites of the Day. Still, my newsletters generate so much traffic that Web sites sometimes become unavailable. If you are unable to access today's Cool Site now, please try later. It is a working site.
Webmasters:
If your site has been selected as a Kim Komando Cool Site of the Day, let the
world know by displaying my award button & link on your site!
