It's a familiar Web story. You see someone commented on your hilarious status on Facebook, so you want to see what they said. Two hours later, you log out wondering just where all of that time went.
Social media sucks you into its Web very easily if you're not careful. MinutesPlease makes sure you don't linger too long when you check in.
You just type in site's URL and set the timer for how long you want to stay. Once your time is up, MinutesPlease closes the site.
If you need to, you can extend or pause the timer. You can use one of the URL shortcuts to access the site's timer, too.
Note: In order to access some of MinutesPleases features, you have to disable your pop-up blocker or add an exception for MinutesPlease. Make sure you go to your browser's settings menu to do that if you want pop-up notifications from the site's timer.
Notice: We give websites a "heads-up" before mentioning them in our Cool Sites of the Day. Still, my newsletters generate so much traffic that websites sometimes become unavailable. If you are unable to access today's Cool Site now, please try later. It is a working site.
Webmasters:
