If you’re taking a trip, it’s a good chance you’ll be flying in a plane. An airplane is the fastest way to get to most destinations. Unfortunately, it can also be expensive.
There are many sites that help you find airline tickets and flight deals. However, one company supplies most of the information that feeds those sites. That company is ITA Software – and Google now owns it.
It’s no surprise then that Google has launched a Flight Search site. Google is billing it as the easiest way to find inexpensive and convenient flights. And it is actually quite easy to use.
You can quickly pick starting points and destinations. Filtering flights by length, price and date is a snap. When you find a flight you like, you can book it directly on the airline’s site. You bypass the middlemen.
Of course, Flight Search is still fairly new. For now, Google has limited the site to major urban centers. They’ll be adding more cities over time.
