Watch the world’s hackers live

Watch the world’s hackers live

If you've been following the news on Komando.com over the past few months, you've seen the security alerts about the massive government hacking directed by the Chinese. That was just one in a string of hacks in the last few years that have crippled both retail and government databases.

I'm sure you remember the huge Target database breach two years ago that left millions of credit card users vulnerable to cyberthieves. These attacks happen all the time, 10 million times a day according to Forbes Magazine. Mind-blowing, isn't it?

Now there's a way to watch the hacking live. With this mesmerizing map from Norse, an online security company, you can gain a true sense of just how often these attacks occur.

Norse sets up tempting attack channels called "honeypots." When hackers use these channels, Norse can record what the hackers were trying to attack, and direct the attacks away from their intended target.

Once these hackers are "honeypotted," Norse plots the attacks on a map so you can watch the evil hackers wage cyberwar on other countries, including our own. You can even hover over locations pinpointed on the interactive map to see the attacks they've been responsible for and where they are being directed.

Every now and then, you'll see a large group of attacks aimed at the United States from China and vice versa. Here is a short video demonstrating how the Norse system works.

Click the blue link below to check out the cyberwarfare that is happening right now. You'll be amazed by just how often this type of attack happens, I know I was. Once you check it out, let me know what you thought about it by leaving me a comment below!
