Creative clipart images are a great way to add a little something extra visual pizazz to work presentations or your children's school projects. But, it can be tough to find free high-quality clipart, especially if you're not using Microsoft Office. Even if you are  Microsoft customer, the company's image catalog can start to feel repetitive or look a little dated after a while. Luckily, there's an online resource out there that gives you access to over 59,000 images and counting, absolutely free.

You can browse by random images or see the most popular clipart on the site. If you find an artist you like you can browse their library, too. There's also a handy search bar at the top of the page where you can use keywords to find whatever you're looking for. There's also a Worldnews tab at the top of the page that you can use to see clipart that's relevant to current events.

If you like something you see, but want to add your own flair, there's a simple  image editor you can access from any image's landing page to add stickers, shapes, logos and make other small adjustments to the clipart. You get to the editor through the website, so there are no programs to install.

If you like creating images, you can also upload your own work for others to download. You must create a free account first, then you can click the upload link in the top right corner of the screen to show off your work.

Once you know which image you want to download, you've got to save it to your computer. To do that, click the clipart so you can go to its main page. Once you're there, you'll see an orange "Download" button and three smaller green buttons for a small, medium or big image.

To download to your computer, click the green button that matches the general size you want to download. This will open the image in your browser window. Hover your mouse over the image and right click. Select "Save Image As" and choose the folder where you want to save it on your computer. It will save as a common PNG image file.

You can also copy embed codes if you want to post an image to your website or blog. Those codes are in the bottom left corner of the image page across from the download links.

If you edited an image and want to save it, click the "Save" button in the top right corner of the photo editor screen. Then, change the file type to JPG or PNG and save it. You'll find the clipart in your Downloads folder.
