There are four versions of Windows Vista available to the public. Picking the right one could be confusing.
Before you buy, make sure you know what you're getting. This chart shows the features in each edition.
If you’re installing Vista yourself, run the Vista Upgrade Advisor. Home Premium, Business and Ultimate have more features than Home Basic. Consequently, their requirements are more stringent.
* Windows Vista Ultimate qualifies for the Windows Vista Family Discount. Buy a retail version of Ultimate (upgrade or full version). Then, you can purchase two copies of Vista Home Premium for $50. The offer lasts through June 30, 2007.
