You know exercise is good for you, but staying motivated to work out can be tough. So, how would you like to have your own personal motivational coach? Even better, how about one that pays you for meeting your exercise goals?

Now you can with Pact. This app works with Apple and Android smartphones to track your exercise and diet goals and gives you cash for meeting them.

Pact works by charging users who don't meet their goals and spreading that money around to the people who do. To start, you set your own goals along with the amount of money you're willing to pay if you skip a workout.

You can then check in for your workouts using your phone's GPS or by registering your gym's location. You can also set diet goals and upload photos of your meals that other users verify to keep you honest.

The app syncs up with other workout gadgets and apps like RunKeeper, Fitbit, Jawbone Up, MapMyRun and MyFitnessPal to help you keep track of your progress.

If you need a little extra motivation (and some extra cash), give this app a try! You can withdraw your earnings once you reach $10.
